An Exclusive Market Offering for Growth – Plus Cost Savings
PatrolWorks with LPR offers significant profit and growth upside for PPI companies along with the potential option for exclusivity in a market.
Violation Detection And Documentation
The integration with License Plate Recognition (LPR) enables highly efficient identification of vehicles that don’t belong on a lot.
The companion mobile app – Co-Pilot – adds functionality to enter any and all policy violations for a property for any and all vehicles – whether they have a permit or not.
Patrolling with PatrolWorks with LPR is typically conducted in a small spotter vehicle (“camera car”) to identify permitting violations. Trucks for impounding are “standing by”. Truck drivers have all of the needed violation information on their mobile phone/tablet with the downloaded Co-Pilot app.
Co-Pilot Mobile App – Adding Pictures to an LPR “Hit”
For vehicles in violation as identified by the LPR system, Co-Pilot can do an LPR scan of the plate and then take additional pictures that are automatically added to the violation record as additional documentation.
Co-Pilot Mobile App – Entering Violations Directly (no LPR)
Co-Pilot can also be used to enter violations that are not permit related – e.g., flat tires, expired license plate registration – to enforce all property policies.
Chalking for Timed Parking
PatrolWorks with LPR has built-in chalking to monitor and enforce violations in timed (often retail) parking lots.
- Scan the spaces. The LP is recorded and time-stamped
- Return 60 minutes later (or when the permitted time has expired).
- Scan again; the spotter will be alerted to vehicles that have exceeded the posted time limit.
- Violations go to the Dispatch Board for assignment to a nearby truck driver.
Property Manager Portal
The “Portal” for Property Managers (a mobile-friendly web app) enables lot-specific configuration for defining policies, specifying the consequences of violations (including a ticketing option), and setting pricing for various types of permits, including Guest Parking.
Lots and Permit Pricing Options – Examples
- Surface parking- basic price?
- Garage – premium price?
- Close-in parking – higher price?
- Guest parking – pricing based on duration?
- Monthly lot – higher price?
- Faculty Club – higher price?
Violation and Enforcement Options – Examples
- A vehicle with no permit – relocate?
- Permit holder parked incorrectly – issue $15 ticket?
- Expired contractor permit – warning?
- Expired Guest Permit – issue $20 ticket for first occurrence; relocate on second?
- Vehicle blocking fire hydrant – relocate?
- Permit holder in visitor parking – issue $10 ticket for first occurrence; $25 ticket for second occurrence; relocate on third?
Property Managers can approve impounding, as required, from their “Portal” which streamlines and expedites processes.
“Self-Service” For Permit Holders – Time Savings for Property Managers
The “Portal” for Permit Holders (residents) is also a mobile-friendly web app. The Portal provides exceptional convenience. Residents can utilize the self-service functionality to purchase and transfer parking permissions which in turn saves time for Property Managers.
Vehicle Registration (Notification by Email)
- Purchase of Guest Permits
- For license plates (LPs) and lots approved by the Property Manager
