TransportOps is designed specifically for Heavy Hauling operations. The execution of jobs can be planned in advance and be pre-assigned to the appropriate equipment and drivers.
Scheduling
Scheduling is made easy with the drag and drop assignment of jobs to resources (trucks and drivers) which can be quickly modified over the course of a day as requirements unfold.
Driver Notification
When the heavy hauling manager completes the plan, drivers receive text message notifications with the information they need to be prepared for their job(s) the following day (e.g., equipment to use, when to be on the road).
Automated Dispatch and Job Tracking
Pre-assigned jobs are automatically dispatched to the appropriate driver when they login to CommLink to begin their workday. This relieves the typical congestion in dispatch each morning as dispatchers scramble to get trucks on the road.
Issue Identification
On the day of the heavy hauling assignments, managers can observe whether drivers are on schedule. And if not, resolve internal issues and notify customers.
